Which of your data do we use and where does your data come from?

We process the data we receive from you as part of the application process.

These are in particular your personal details (e.g. name, address, contact details, date and place of birth, nationality), identification data (e.g. ID card data), health data (e.g. severe disability), qualification documents (e.g. certificates, assessments, training certificates) and, if applicable, further data in connection with the application (e.g. curriculum vitae).

You are not legally obliged to provide us with your personal data. Failure to provide it may adversely affect our decision whether to enter an employment relationship with you.

For what purposes and on what legal basis do we process your data?

We process your personal data in accordance with the data protection regulations of the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) or special legal regulations for decision-making on whether we establish an employment relationship with you.

The purpose of the processing depends on the requirements of the implementation of the application procedure (e.g. invitation to interviews, carrying out assessments, evaluation of your performance).

The legal basis for data processing is Art.88 DSGVO in conjunction with. § 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG (new) or, in the case of consent, Art.6 para. 1 lit a) DSGVO.

How long will your data be stored?

We process and store your data for the duration of the application process plus a further 3 months. Afterwards, your data will be deleted immediately.

If, based on your application profile, we are interested in storing your application data for a longer period, we will inform you of this and obtain your consent.

Passing on your data

Who receives your personal data?

Within the company, only those offices receive your data that need them to carry out the application procedure and due to legal obligations.

We only disclose information if required by law, you have consented, or we are authorised to disclose information.

Under these conditions, recipients of personal data may be, for example, public bodies and institutions (e.g. offices, tax authorities) if there is a legal or official obligation. Further data recipients may be those bodies for which you have given us consent to transfer data.

Will your data be transferred to a third country or an international organisation?

No data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (third countries).

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art.15 GDPR), rectification (Art.16 GDPR), erasure (Art.17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art.18 GDPR), data portability (Art.20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art.21 GDPR). Please contact us if you wish to exercise these rights.

You can withdraw your consent within the meaning of Art.88 DSGVO in conjunction with. § 26 Abs.2 S.1 BDSG at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out until your revocation.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates existing data protection regulations, you can complain to a supervisory authority, without prejudice to other legal remedies. In particular, you can address the complaint to a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
